| Paul,
We appreciate your making the comparables for us. Your estimate is what we expected; but we just wanted to hear from you since you know the business. We were considering the house even though we were concerned about the awkward floor plan and the very small master bedroom. We were not even sure that just a queen bed alone would fit in there. Then, before we left, we drove around Smalls Loop and discovered that the commercial property has been cleared all the way to the back fence of the LaCroix property, and the house sits very close to the road on that side as well. This was the biggest disappointment. Since we have no idea how the property will be developed, we naturally envision parking lots, traffic noise, or other intrusions on the peaceful and clean atmosphere of the home.
Now that we have the comparables, we have decided that we will be wise to remain where we are rather than investing in an unknown situation. We have also realized, once again, how blessed we are to be in our present location. Maybe one day soon we will be able to sell the home and build a more permanent home on our present location. If not, we still cannot think of anywhere else we want to be.
Thank you, though, for giving us an opportunity to explore our options. If anything changes, or we know of anyone looking for an agent, we will most definitely call you. It was a pleasure working with such a professional and caring team.
Sincerely,
Dee and Darlene Ames
